Fusion of TSWANA Folk & other musical influences from across the world
At the heart of the Sereetsi & The Natives sound is the blend of the four string folk guitar of Botswana, beautiful lyricism and storytelling as well as the various traditional rhythms of the Batswana people who are found throughout southern Africa (Botswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Namibia).

Sereetsi has performed at some of the biggest international stages in the African live music scene including; Windhoek Jazz Fest (Nambia), The Vic Falls Carnival (Zimbabwe), Bushfire Fest (Kingdom of Eswatini), Artistic Encounters Series (Kenya), Ake Arts & Book Fest (Nigeria), Kgalagadi Jazz Fest, Mahika Mahikeng, Moshito Street Fest, Cultural Calabash (South Africa), Planetta Wor;d Music Fest (Sweden)
Sereetsi & The Natives has shared the stage with, among others, Anthony Hamilton, Music Soulchild, Zahara, Selaelo Selota, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Oliver Mtukudzi, Caiphus Semenya, Letta Mbulu, Jonas Gwangwa, Stimela & Ray Phiri and Freshlyground, among many others.
Sereetsi & The Natives has collaborated with stars such as Brymo (Nigeria), Berita (Zimbabwe), Jackie Venson (USA), Oscar Soul Experience (Sweden), Bokani Dyer (South Africa), Wezi and James Sakala (Zambia).
Sereetsi is also considered a pioneer on the cultural landscape in Botswana. His 83 page guitar instructional book/ CD on his native folk guitar tradition entitled The Solo Four String Guitar of Botswana is a ground breaking first.
